If I paste an image into the Knowledge base it works with some images but others are truncated
Has anyone else had this issue?
If so how can I fix it
When I paste the image into edit view it works properly but the html for the image appears to be getting truncated on save
Can you post the exact image you’re using, or is it private?
My point is, if you can find a specific image that is public, and reproducibly causes the malfunction, it would be useful for testing.
Its almost any image 
1st one fails 2nd works
Can you please try it on the online demo to see if it works there?
It would be nice if we could focus on one specific image that always fails, in every system, not just yours. That would be great for debugging.

Images don’t work there at all
I created 3 records and pasted in various images
All got zapped on save
Yeah, I also tried it on the demo, and on my own 7.9.4 system, and it doesn’t work at all, even with small images (7Kb).
This looks like an Issue you could file in Github, if you can’t find it there already…
To make it stranger its also browser dependent
You can paste images in Firefox & IE but not chrome (known chrome issue with HTML editors)
Also tried it on an installation running windows & IIS and it works properly
Weird, my failed attempts were on Firefox.
I dragged the image from Windows explorer into the area, it appears correctly inside the editor, but then doesn’t save.
Are you also dragging, or doing it differently?

IT doesn’t seem to work at all in 7.9.4 but works same in 7.7.8 & 7.8.5
