Hello,
I am very new to SuiteCRM and I have been tasked to see if it is the right move to move to this CRM solution for my company.
We currently use ACT! and have many custom templates and features that we are looking for that ACT! just doesn’t get done how we would like. We would like much more automation to occur.
I’m more on the tech end of things and looking to see if this is an over right choice when it comes to resources and stability.
We have about 30 users that would be working in-and-out of the CRM system. Has anyone had around this user base with little to know errors and issues with SuiteCRM? What are your opinions on it? What resources are you using it to run on?
Just trying to get a general idea of if this is a good idea or not?
Thanks!
Hi
30 users isn’t a problem, there are installations running with thousands. The actual hardware you’ll need will depend on the intensity and kind of use, but it shouldn’t be anything special compared to any other regular PHP app.
Some advice I would give you to ensure a successful project:
-
there is a learning curve. If you can get some expert help from the start, you’ll save a lot of time and worries
-
migration is a project in itself, and not just a technical project, it involves your company’s processes
-
invest in good data design, and process design, from the start
-
use a flexible architecture, one where you can test and clone systems
-
the money you save on the licenses (there are none) you can spend on consulting/development for the above tasks, and then on customizations (to get the automation you want)
There are dozens of companies doing this work with SuiteCRM, if you want to be contacted by SalesAgility for a quote, let me know.
What is an email you can be reached at?
There are, of course, public emails, but I will just ask someone specific to email you using your email here in the forums.
