Is suiteCRM capable of serving two business at one time?

I run two business (sole proprietor). How easy is it going to be to setup seperate spaces for those types of business?
Is such seperation possible. What comes to my mind is that branding and type of business activities are different so should be the sofftware.

How to approach this issue?

If the businesses are that different, shouldn’t you have two separate instances ?

I agree with m42. If you want a complete separation why not use two separate systems. Fortunately you don’t have to worry about licence costs with SuiteCRM… :wink:

In terms of data, what you want is perfectly possible using Security Groups configuration. See https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/docs/securitysuite/example-of-a-typical-setup

But to have different brandings, you would need some custom code. Of course, the product doesn’t need too much branding, being for internal use, so you could just keep it plain.

This route would be adequate if the businesses were separated, but you would still want some global vision, or global access, even if it is just for a single person (you!).

If they are completely different, isolated, and you require extensive branding, what the two previous posters said applies… just go with two independent systems.
