Installed SuiteCRM Outlook plugin - emails now being stored on member pages

I’m taking over the CRM project in our organization, and can’t seem to figure something out. I’ve installed the SuiteCRM outlook plug-in, and have been able to figure out to send e-mails via Outlook using the address book in the CRM. However, when an e-mail is sent (even with auto-archival in place), it stores the e-mail in the member page. Is there a way to not have this happen? In other words, we’d like to use the CRM address book for sending e-mails, but we don’t want e-mail exchanges to be saved on the member pages, as it will crowd the History/Notes module, making it difficult to find actual notes that we need.
