Installation Hangs at step 2

after all the verification and passes, the installation of SuiteCRM 7.6.3 is stuck at step 2 of 2 and when we check the install log it shows stuck at 10:55:22…retrieve

post this the installer does not show any progress.

Any help in this regard, this installation went on for 24hrs… :pinch:

are there any errors in your apache error log? They might give more of a clue to what’s went wrong.

Hi,

I have uninstalled the CRM from the webserver and also deleted the database. Currently reinstalling it from the scratch, let me see how this goes, but its been an hour and still it’s installing the CRM. attached is the screenshot for reference.

whereas the log file, its blank as clean as a wiped slate, so have to check later to see for any errors stored.

will revert once I this is working or not :(.

I had the same problem.
Using Chrome instead of Firefox helped, a error message was displayed.
The config.php could not be created.
I created the file with the provided text on the page, and it worked.

Tried that and still the same - Installation just goes on and there is no error at all :frowning:

Same with me - 7.7.1 installation hangs at step 2 - this time for a few hours.

I looked at the log in the root directory and the fail is this:

2016-08-18 19:39:10…installerHook: Could not find custom/install/install_hooks.php

There IS no install directory in the “custom” folder, and “install_hooks.php” does not exist anywhere, in any folder.

Any progress on the issue yet?
