Inbound Email undefined and SSL not saving in crm - Incoming Email not encrypted!

I am having issues with my inbound email in suitecrm 7.4

The emails coming into the crm are sending out to a gmail account we own and is not encrypting our emails. I try to set the inbound email in the crm to SSL port 993 but every time I test the email connection it tells me (in a undefined box) “Password or login is not correct”. Now I know for a fact they are correct, because i just made the email accounts in my server and I have triple checked the password numerous times. I keep getting the little red lock in my gmail that says the email are not being encrypted from my server (but they are the ones coming from the CRM). I am using the correct dns settings for my mail, so I am not sure why it is not encrypting. Someone please help!
