Impossible to change field properties in studio for edit view

I want to change the field tab order (tabindex) of my fields on the edit view layout definition. Unfortunately this is not possible as the “edit” icon (pen) seems to be inactive. Does anybody else have the same problem?

I am using version 7.9.0

It works perfectly in your demo. Is there any specific setting or add-on required to enable the feature? I have used the same browser (Chrome) with your demo as well as with my installation.

Is this a new install?

We’d have to check if you have everything running properly.

  • run a Quick Repair and Rebuild

  • check your logs for any errors

  • reset your permissions if this is Linux

Problem solved! We used the release candidate of 7.9.0. After upgrading to the released version, it works!
