Import error

Hi -

I’m trying to import 40,000 accounts, and import tool does not work for that quantity of records.

On the other hand, there likes to be another option: script code for mass upload. Unfortunately, I have not found any information about how to develop those scripts.

My problem is that I want to create 40,000 accounts with their respective opportunity, base on our customers database. Can anyone help us?

I’m located in Colombia. But I found an alternative solution:

  1. Splited CVS file in 10 4000 records files (bigger represented trouble for me).
  2. Uploaded them as Leads.
  3. Converted leads in accounts and opportunities.

This surely works…!
