iam using suitecrm 7.11.10 on ubuntu linux 18.04 and PHP 7.2 with maria SQL
how to install POP3, i can only choose IMAP in my profile email settings.
Anyone an idea ?
i only find a manually editing of override.php
$sugar_config[‘allow_pop_inbound’] = true;
but it seams to work !
This is highly not recommended. It is an old hack that bypasses a check and sends you directly into untested territory. Use at your own risk, there are likely bugs lurking when you go down that path…
On the other hand, it’s 2020 and I guess all email providers have IMAP access, no?
thank you for your answer, yes i can change to imap and i will disable now pop3 for security reason
