LinkedIn’s API licensing terms now specifically disallow API access from any application that is categorized as CRM. Here is an article discussing it from earlier this year http://www.zdnet.com/linkedout… . It seems that LinkedIn is testing out how they can monetize their database by selling subscriptions to their service to sales organizations. They are currently allowing such access with a paid subscription for users of Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
