What’s the general opinion about extending the existing framework (SugarCRM)

For instance I find it terrible annoying that I have to add the logic hooks outside the module builder.

If I’d extend the module builder so we can add (and save) the logic hooks would that be considered helpfull to the cause ?

Hi Paul,

Currently we’re not moving away from the CE structure/functionality as this means that upgrades/migrations are straightforward and there are minimal issues(usually permissions/memory or rebuilds required).

We may move away and modify/enhance the core in future.
