Getting Blank Page when I try and install 7.1.3 MAX for the first time

I have read through all of the topics in the forum about blank pages on install and have tried to change the permissions accordingly but have had no luck. I am using PHP 5.4 and am on Dreamhost. Not sure what to try next.

Most likely permissions. What are the details of your server i.e. OS/versions? We can then recommend permissions to set.
