Getting access to ID (uuid) in Layouts for debug?

Ouch – well then I’ll just have to make a shell script or something in Python to recreate them on demand.

I’m nosing around in the code to see if I can figure out to just patch the system to make it visible everywhere.

Seriously someone should give me a quote on a patch to do this :slight_smile:

Here’s the hack I have to preserve all my uuid hint files, run from the top of *custom/Extension/modules/"

find . -name “sugarfield.id.php” | tar -cf uuid.tar -T -

Then anytime Module Builder wipes them out I can just unroll the files over the directory structure and repair
