I have local C: installed on Windos10 my SuiteCRM 7.6.4 with all contacts, accounts etc etc.
Wish to upgrade to latest Bitnami stack 7.7. which I downloaded and installed on Local C drive again.
How to transfer all my accounts/contacts to the new version??
Thanks, WIlliam.
you canāt upgrade a bitnami stack with another bitnami stack, but you can export all your accounts and contacts and re import them in the new version, thereās an export and import option in each module.
best regards
Hallo Mike Beck, ( and othersā¦)
Thanks for info, wonder (with my installed Bitnami C:Suitecrm 7.5 ) can I use the upgrade from the download SuiteCRM site āupgrades from 7.5 to 7.7ā ??
I have a huge database and many custom modules , so exporting and importing might take several days, with 60.000 Accounts and 40.000
contacts and some 40.000 in some custommade modules.
I can do it, ā¦but is there no alternatives which is easier.?
Thanks for any help
of course you can make a simple upgrade, just follow the guide here https://suitecrm.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrade and I suggest to you to wait for 7.7.X because the 7.7 is not that good at the moment
best regards

Hallo Mike Beck,
That is a very very good advice, THanks !!!
William, in the Netherlands.
I recently did the incremental upgrades of a Bitnami Stack from 7.3.2 to 7.6.6. In my case, it was a 2 step upgrade: from 7.3.x to 7.4.3, and then from 7.4.x to 7.6.6.
Follow the procedure in the SuiteCRM Upgrade documentation that Mike referenced and remember to make a full backup of your Bitnami stack before you start the upgrade process. You need to modify some ini file settings before doing the upgrade(s).
The Bitnami Stack backup is documented in the SuiteCRM section of the Bitnami site.

Good luck
I did on my local Bitnami C: an upgrade from Bitnami 7.6(working good) to the "upgrade to 7.7 from the SUITECRM site(not the Bitname 7.7) and all went well, but the layout of the Edit and others was not correct anymore, I saw the screen only on the rightside instead of the full screen.
I mean on the whole screen only the right-half was show the edit and I could not move it/drag it to the whole screenā¦
So I followed the good advice of Mike Beck, and RE-installed the older Bitnami 7.6 and wait for the UPGRADE FROM Bitnami 7.6 to the
BUGFREE UPGRADE SUITECRM to 7. 7.1.XXX. , (so not the upgrade SuiteCRM 7.7.)
Here is Petrovlis again, I made a mistake⦠I upgraded from Bitnami C: install 7.6.4⦠to the SuiteCRM 7.7 upgradeā¦but I discovered to do this in TWO steps
.first from SuiteCRM upgrade 7.6.4. to 7.6.6 and then from SuiteCRM 7.6.6. to SuiteCrm 7.7 and then finally the screen and the layouts were OKAY !!!
