Hello

I am looking for a CRM System and installed SUGARCRM latest Community Edition => E.Mail works fine.

Then i realized, that the Edition is always behind the actual one and decided to switch over to SuiteCRM.

Everything went fine at installation but i can not setup the email, because i get the following error in Version 7.5.3 :

I already searched in this forum but the solutions are for older verson ´s and do not work for me.

Is there anybody else expierineceing the bug ?

There is a GitHub issue logged for this on the SuiteCRM GitHub Repository.

I’d recommend you keep up to date with that issue and monitor for a fix/suggested fix.

Hi Will,

here the solution for the problem.
When using PHP 5.5 => It works
When using PHP 5.6 => SMTP Error

Solution is : Change public $SMTPAutoTLS = true; into public $SMTPAutoTLS = false; in the file /include/phpmailer/class.phpmailer.php

This works for me.
Is it pposible for future updates in SuiteCRM to handle that problem automatically ?
