"Failed to retrive Data"

I Have gone through this but still unable to fix the issue.

I have given 777 permission to my installation.

When i am creating a new Field or and put lable. it displays this error “Failed to retrieve data” what i also noticed is that When I I am creating a field and giving the label its not storing the lable. and i am getting the below error

Hi,

I have no direct answer, only a troubleshooting suggestion…

Try turning your log level up to “DEBUG” and then go through the one of the processes you have described but stopping just before you would create the error.

Then rename your sugarcrm.log

Then perform the final action that causes the error and no more. The point of doing it as described is simply to focus and minimise the amount of info you have to read in the log.

Copy the contents of sugarcrm.log to another file and review. Perhaps it will give you a clue as to where in the code the error is happening. If it does, you could then use a step through debugger to add a breakpoint in the offending code and examine it in action.

Close the error dialog. You could repeat for the second process you described.
