Ensure no mail to accounts and contacts

Hi,

I’m new to SuiteCRM and my question is related to email generated by suiteCRM:

Because I don’t want the system to auto-generate emails to my accounts and contacts, I have to ensure, that NO mail is generated to my accounts and contacts, regardsless what I create in CRM (e.g. new opportunity, new case, …)

Is SuiteCRM out of the box configured, that NO mail is sent to accounts/contacts, or do I have to configure it accordingly?
if so, where this config is done?

You can disable/unset ‘notify on assignment’ in the user preferences within the CRM.
