email password not getting saved though its working fine in test emails

Hi ,
I am using suietcrm 7.1.4 where when i try to update the email password its working fine in test mail but again if i go to email setting and try to sent test mail mail again,its showing me email authentication issue.

observation:seems like email module not allowing to save new passwords
