email outgoing in SuiteCRM 7.6 local not working.

I have local Bitnami 7.6 installed.—Windows 10-- Outlook 2016

Incoming Email working good.

If I click on an emailaddress in Accounts/Contacts, then jumping to"Quick Compose" the default SuiteCRM mailer.

I see the outgoing clicked emailaddres in TO : xxxxx@yyyy.com and when sending I get smtp error. or have to wait several minutes and no reaction…

In Outgoing settting:

system imap.ziggo.nl ----------------(set to 993 SSL and Authen. checked. (these figures from local provider)

Even a new added Gmail or smtp.ziggo.nl (with 587 and Auth checked and SSL) not working,smtp error…

  1. How to set up OUTLOOK 2017 as the default ?

If you had a newer SuiteCRM version, it would be easy to get a full SMTP log and figure out the problem immediately… but on 7.6 you can’t.

On the Outbound settings, can you send the “test” email successfully?

You need to check all those parameter, maybe try getting them to work on another client before trying them in SuiteCRM.

For Gmail, go to your Google Account and make sure you have “allow less secure apps” enabled.
