Email Error: Not authorized to use Outbound Account ""

Error when user attempts to send an email. Log shows:

Email Error: Not authorized to use Outbound Account ""
User Xavier attempted to send an email using incorrect email account settings in which they do not have access to.

Sending test emails from the outbound account (system and user) works. Adding an outbound account for the user does not fix this.
Emails seemed to work in v7.8, although we used it only briefly.

Any fixes?

What is your SuiteCRM version?

Sorry, I should included it:

Sugar 7.10.7
PHP 7.0
Apache 2.4

Problem solved by downloading the full v7.10.7 package and overwriting SuiteCRM, then re-applying our customizations.

This was pretty painful, and the one extension we have now doesn’t work.

I have the very same problem… Not sure how to proceed? Log says:

But I am logged in as administrator…

Iam on version: 7.11.2 and PHP 7.2

TEST email IS WORKING AS EXPECTED…

There’s a check box in Admin / Email settings, to indicate that the system email address can be used by individual users. You need to check that.
