When editing a layout the recycle bin does not work in other words when dragging a field onto the recysle bin the field jumps back to into the layout

Dragging/dropping needs to be accurate. You may need to drag it in several different positions ‘near’ the recycle bin for it actually to remove from the layout.
Also, check the permissions you need to set for your instance(search the forums, there are over 900 topics on permissions!).

I tried what you suggested neer the recycle bin but to no avail
The permissions are all set on full access for administaror
Any other suggestions

The installation was succesful
The OS is windos 8.1 and I am running Suitecrm in AMPPS
The funny thing is it was working and then all of a sudden stopped but I do not know what I did just before it stopped
do you thing a reinstall will help without loosing anything

You could attempt re-installing. It sounds like a permissions issue though! Have you searched the forums to find adequate permissions to set?

I have tried 3 new installations on different pc one is in the cload with my service provider and no luck
I have enabled all the things in the roles but It made no difference
It is installed on a Windows 8, windows 7 and linux pc

Drag and drop is very very very poor. Some times i need to drag and drop a field in recyble bin more than 10 times before i get it removed. When a fix about this annoying issue?
