I want to know is there a way to add Edit button in case updates threaded?
People can commit a mistake while updating a case. The edit button is always needed.

No, there isn’t.
That works more like a chat, so if you make a mistake you just add a new entry.
You can make it more formal, instead of using the threaded updates, ask people to add notes to the case. The “View summary” button on the history panel then let’s you see it all in one place.
Of course you can write custom code to make that edit button, if you are a developer.
