Edit Call Status (Status and Direction) from Detail View?

From the detail view, it appears that (by default, anyway) you can only edit the “Direction” of a call from the Status tab. In order to completely update the status (Planned, Held, etc), I have to go into Edit View.

There doesn’t seem to be an option to change this in studio.

Is there any way to change the Status completely from the Detail view?

If the "Enable inline editing on list view: " switch on in system settings you can edit fields in Detailview, include field ‘Status’.
