E-mail reminders before software subscription expiration

I am a freelancer (one-man company), new to CRM.
I have an e-shop selling antivirus software subscriptions (1, 2 or 3 years). I wish to send e-mail reminders to customers e.g. one week before their AV subscription expires. The reminders should contain the name of their purchased product.

  1. Can someone tell me if SuiteCRM can do the above?
  2. If so, can you briefly direct me regarding which parts of SuiteCRM should I use to achieve the above?
  3. I use Joomla + Virtuemart. Is there some possibility to transfer Joomla/Virtuemart data into SuiteCRM?
