Documents module - document download not working on Windows server installation

Hi everyone!

I am encountering a serious problem with SuiteCRM installations on Windows 2012 R2 IIS server:

  • Documents module
    -creating record works fine
    -view record details works fine
    -download uploaded document IS NOT WORKING!

Error I get from browser is HTTP ERROR 500.

Tried with different browsers and both: MSSql and MySQL database = the problem persists.

Did anyone have such problem and how to resolve this?

I remember that there was a plugin/library that you need to activate in your webserver in order to download a previous uploaded file, I’ll suggest to you to check your logs, there must be something there, I’m not an IIS user so I can’t help you more than that.

Thank you for your answer.

I looked into log file and no records are being put in there when trying to download file (when I click on file name hyperlink in Documents details view).

Could you please direct me more in details regarding this plugin/library for webserver?
