disable work flow mysql queries

sugarcrm log was getting a lot of

SELECT id FROM aow_workflow WHERE aow_workflow.flow_module = ‘some_module’ AND aow_workflow.status = ‘Active’ AND aow_workflow.deleted = 0

so cleared out all workflows and removed from tables aow_workflow

and yet this query persists - how do i stop it ?

you need to disable the task in the Scheduler option Admin -> Schedulers

it is not there, all active schedulers are:
function::trimSugarFeeds
function::removeDocumentsFromFS
function::cleanJobQueue

Run a quick build & repair and also Rebuild Schedulers, please post a screen shot of your schedulers
