Hi All,

Logging in after a long time :slight_smile: Suite 7.1.4 looks good, downloaded and tested it a few days go.

Well coming to the question now, I would like to disable cache in the application. I have read in some forums you do that by enabling the developer mode and it stop caching template files.

I have tested the performance impact in a pretty small sized database and it works almost the same except a marginal increase in page load time. What I would like to know is how would be the performance in a large sized database like with 20+ users and about 5,00,000 records. Also how dependable is running the application with the developer mode turned off.

Yes, enabling developer mode will disable cache. But I want to know if it is safe to use developer mode on a production instance.
