I was wondering why one might keep a lead once the lead is converted to an account and contact?
I wanted to erase it to avoid possibly using the lead to enter notes, instead fo the contact.

Hi Joe,
You should be able to do this using AOW(workflow menu item in the CRM.
There is documentation on using AOW in the wiki.

I am not looking to know how to erase anything.
I am looking for reasons why one would want to keep the original lead after conversion, or to erase.
I wanted people thoughts on what I would keep it or not.

Ok. Iām not in sales, but you may want to keep the lead for reporting or auditing, as some companies require this.
