I just recently uploaded many user accounts into SuiteCRM. However I cannot figure out how to inform them of their password so they can login. Is there a way to determine this? Is there a default value assigned by SuiteCRM when User Accounts get uploaded?
It may be that you have System-Generated passwords enabled. This means that the users will receive emails informing them of a password to log into the CRM with.
If you want to disable this option to provide them with passwords yourself, go to Admin > Password Management and disable the option: Enable System-Generated Passwords Feature:
After doing so, and saving, You can edit the user accounts and provide them passwords by going to the “Password” tab when editing their User Account
If you re-enable the option, you will likely need to re-import these user accounts as i believe the Auto Generated emails send out when the user account is created.
