Database Failure - No such file or directory

Hi Pgr,

I did and this is what it showed up, which I believe it was successful.

But I still see all of these alters again when I try the Quick Repair tool.

And those other commands, do they execute correctly?

If not, what is the exact error(s)?

No they do not.
See I have highlighted them in this screenshot. Its the exact same alters that keep showing up.

I’ve seen similar issues here in the forums before, but I don’t fully understand how they’re possible.

One possibility that has been intriguing me is maybe people have some different vardefs under custom dir, and these take precedence from the new ones in Core that came with the upgrade, making everything inconsistent.

Can you look for any vardefs files under your custom dir?

You would have received a warning about this during the upgrade process. You can retrieve these warnings from upgradeWizard.log

Where exactly do I look for them?

P.S. I didn’t upgrade them, I migrated them from a shared hosting to AWS

Hey Guys,

Fixed the issue… it was MySQL compatibility issue. I had to downgrade it to 5.7.31 and everything just worked flawless.
