🏢 Customize the conversion panel from leads to opportunity?

is it possible to customize the conversion window/panel that pops up when you want to convert a lead to an opportunity for example in Studio?

I poked abound in: Admin >>> Studio >>> opportunities, but I didn’t seem to find an obvious way of doing it…

No. Only code customizations are possible. It’s a complex screen, not easy to understand or to change.

For anyone who is looking for the place where to start customizing the Lead Conversion page,
you can copy
/modules/Leads/metadata/convertdefs.php
in
/custom/modules/Leads/metadata/convertdefs.php
and edit it
