Customize checkbox 'Copy address from left' in Account layout

Hi,
By default Shipping is on the right and Billing Address is on the left of the layout. Under Shipping there is a checkbox labled ‘Copy address from left’ .
Since I need to switch the addresses around, the checkbox function is broken. Any suggestion that I can fix the issue?

I too am interested in how I can fix this. I haven’t see any response to the question and so I wan to follow up on this posting.
