create history sub-panel for custom module

Hi every one,

i have created a module called as book

i am able to add history panel by adding relation ship of activities but it covers only calls, notes, meeting and email

what i want to do is on payment creation and on any update i need to display it under sub panel .

or how can add payment activities in history panel ??? can some one guide me on this pleaseeeeee …

If I understand your requirement, you want to be able to add custom fields/buttons to the history subpanel for your custom module?

       what i want to try is i have created custom module called as payment . i want to add payment activity to history sub panel .
      for example if i do any payment for particular account i should display in history  sub panel .

       like how its there for notes , calls , tasks , and meeting in history sub panel .

my English is not soo good so forgive me i i did any mistake .

can i create a flex relate field in payment module
and add a relationship between payment and account module ( with out creating relation table )
and on account module can i create a sub panel call as payment history ???

Hi there,

Yes. If you create a one-to-many between accounts and payments, payment data for that account will show in the subpanel.

is there any way that i can add my custom module( payment ) in history activity

for example if i want to create a history panel for a

i will create a One to many relation ship with -> < activity >

and 4 relation ship will create automatically like

  • one to many relation ship ->

  • one to many relation ship ->

  • one to many relation ship ->

  • one to many relation ship ->

so if there any way that

i can add my custom module( payment ) in < activity >

so next time when i create a relation ship < custom module >->

automatically

and 4 relation ship will create automatically like

  • one to many relation ship ->

  • one to many relation ship ->

  • one to many relation ship ->

  • one to many relation ship ->

  • one to many relation ship ->

so all this activity will directly come to history panel …

your guidelines will help full for me for understanding

Hi adr,

You would need to look at how to modify the history subpanel code to incorporate your payment custom module. This is not something that we have developed and would need to be researched.

I am also trying to add a custom module to the History subpanel.

It’s great that it lists Email and Calls. However, I have created a custom module for Text Messages. It would be nice if I could get them to show up in the History panel.
