Convert Targets to Leads and Leads to Contact

When I convert records from one type to another the supporting details are not converted. For example, when I convert someone from a Target to a Lead the Events and Campaign Log are not carried forward and I would like them to. How can I get the system to do this? Similarly for converting from Lead to Contact, these important records are not carried forward and I would like them to. Is this a bug? Something that I don’t have right in config? Workflow solutions? Or do most people not use Target & Leads?

Any advice would be great. Thanks.

SugarCRM also used to work like this. It would be great if there was an option to copy all history/notes/activities etc. over to the lead/contact when converting as I don’t think it’s currently possible in Suite
