Conversion functionality

Hi Guys,
Does any know if that is possible to play around and modify a bit Convert to Invoice function form the Quotes?
The standard fields in the invoice entry are being nicely filled with the values in a parent quote, but we are also using custom fields in both quotes and invoices. Maybe someone knows if I can also map custom field form the quote to a custom field in invoice so that upon Conver to Invoice custom field values form quote fills out custom fields in the newly created (converted) invoice?

It should work if you simply give the fields the same name.

So if you have a custom field on the Quote called “something” that should automatically get copied during conversion, to a field called “something” on the Invoice, if it exists there.
