I’m not sure if this is the right place, but let’s see what happens:
Some time ago, we have developed an addition to SugarCRM CE 6.5.x, which makes it possible to add a last name prefix (‘middle name’) and a last name postfix.
In countries as The Netherlands, it’s quite common to have such a prefix. Think of ‘Ruud van Nistelrooy’, where ‘van’ is the last name prefix.
Or in Portugal, where you have a last name ‘da Costa’.
In both cases, people probably want to search or order by for the real last name, hence splitting those components is necessary.
SugarCRM and SuiteCRM both don’t support this and many changes are necessary to properly make this possible.
If Salesagility is interested, I’m prepared to hand over this module as a contribution to SuiteCRM.
