Confirm opt in process

Hello all,

When “Confirmed opt in” is selected from Email Settings, “Send Confirm Opt In Email” is an active action under the Contact module.
If a user is already confirmed as opted in then it is not possible to select this action again for this user.
How could we overcome this; because we need to ask our customers for their agreement frequently.

What do you mean “If a user is already confirmed as opted in then it is not possible to select this action again for this user.”?

In my system it is possible to select that option again, and the email is sent again.
