I´ll install suiteCRM on a local windows server at first.
What´s the recommended configuration for a server to a good performance of the system.

Or is better hosting on a LINUX server?

I´ll apreciate some recomendations.

(A large majority of the steps here will also be applicable for newer versions of SuiteCRM such as 7.5.3)

I’m not sure how large the difference between hosting on Windows and hosting on Linux would be, but I personally feel that the initial setup is easier on Linux.

Regardless of which OS you install, you should ensure that you have the correct platforms installed. (e.g, PHP 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 / MySQL 5.1, 5.5)
