I have recently installed SuiteCRM. As it looks like a great system. However, I am not able to send emails using it.
SMTP Connect() errors, from what i’ve come across, normally indicate that the credentials entered in the CRM are invalid.
Would it be possible to post a screenshot of your Admin > Email settings page?
It may be that one of the values in here are incorrect.
Also, does your SuiteCRM.log / SugarCRM.log file contain any errors related to SMTP / Email?
If so, what do they say?
