Check mail takes forever, and and doesn't appear to contact the imap server. :dry:

I’ve just installed suitecrm, latest version.

I’ve configured incoming group mailbox - and when I test it in the mailbox settings I can see that it logs into the IMAP mailbox on the mail server.

However, when I click ā€˜Check mail’, I get a popup box saying ā€œOne moment please… Checking for New Emailā€, but it never finished checking. And, a tcpdump shows that it’s not attempted to contact the mail server.

I’m also getting a warning message: ā€œNotice: Array to string conversion in /usr/local/www/apache24/data/modules/Emails/EmailUI.php on line 449ā€ just above the mail message panel - I’m not sure if that is connected to the issue.

Is this a common setup problem?
