Change or Set Sort Order for a Report

I’ve created a leads report that groups by the assigned user. I turned on Main Group Assigned To as well.

The list generates a list of all leads grouped by assigned-to, in no particular order.

How can I force or set the sort order from a report?

@pgr That’s the correct answer and it works on some cases. Now, when it comes to Dropdowns, we need to keep into consideration that, currently, sort is done based on the stored value not the displayed/label value.
So, if for example our list of opportunities sale stages Dropdown was created like this:

List Items:
Item Name [Display Label]
New [1. New]
Opening [2. Opening]
Confirmed [3. Confirmed]
Completed [4. Completed]
Cancelled [5. Cancelled]

When sorting Ascending, the report will produce this order:
Cancelled [5. Cancelled]
Completed [4. Completed]
Confirmed [3. Confirmed]
New [1. New]
Opening [2. Opening]

To avoid that, make sure you create your dropdown with a prefix (numbers or letters) that will allow you to sort in the order you want. Like this for example:

Item Name [Display Label]
01_New [1. New]
02_Opening [2. Opening]
03_Confirmed [3. Confirmed]
04_Completed [4. Completed]
05_Cancelled [5. Cancelled]

That will allow you to sort the correct order all the time.
