The entire Cases module doesn’t seem to work on my installation which is tragical since it’s implementation is crusial for our company.
Error log file doesnt show any entries regarding this.
When I try to open Cases an error message is shown suggesting to disable AJAX for this module.
After Ive disabled AJAX for Caes in config_override.php only an empty page is shown when chose Cases.
I Also can’t create cases from imported emails ( option just doesnt show the popupwindow) even though all other options for Emails are viable.
I running SuiteCRM on RHEL 5 , Apache 2.2.3, PHP 5.2.6 and MySQL 5.0
Installation process was already odd since it just halted after creting Cron jobs without throwing any error message.
After cosing the tab and calling the startpage I was able to login into admmin and all modules seem to work properly except Cases
permissions are set as suggested in the Installation instructions.
webserver user and his group are owner of all files, permissions are set to 755 except for the folders mentioned in the instruction where ist set to 775, all recursively of course.
I have full root access to the server.
the only error message in the log is the "Configuration variable date.timezone is not set guessed timezone Europe/Berlin. please set date.timezone = “Europe/Berlin” in php.ini
This one I haven’t come around to yet but it was an error message thrown by our old sugarcrm instance and all modules worked with it back then.
I also installed the german language pack for sugar crm CE 6.5 from sugarforge before testing the cases module.
Not sure if this has anything to do with this…
I tried to use the module in english and in german and in both cases it did not load correctly.
