Can't do manual install on VPS

Hi all,

First time installer. Trying to install on my VPS.
Created new mysql database, added an admin user, uploaded all the files to a new directory.
Got the installer to run from the url, and entered all the info.
But it keeps coming back to step 2, no message or info is being provided.
May have something to do with credentials, but I am using the same process as installing wordpress or joomla, so not sure what’s going wrong?

Can anyone provide any hits?

you can’t create the database before the install initialization, the installer will create a database, at the moment there’s no way to select an existent database.

check your logs, there will be something like “can’t create database, already exist”
