Hi - I’ve spent a day trying to get the interface between Joomla and Suite CRM to work, followed the guides, set the permissions then set recursive permissions to the relevant folders, created the Joomla site, added the details on both Joomla to SuiteCRM and Suite CRM to Joomla, but still get Error 0 Failed to connect to Sugar.
I’ve got portal users setup in SuiteCRM (interesting to note that I had to amend both the edit and detail views to include the check box to enable this).
The Joomla site has the portal, case create and case list menu items.

Suite CRM is 7.2.1 Max
All on MySQL - same host, different DBs
All hosted on the same web server, different directories
I did get another message, twice, about needing to be a portal user to access the site, but when I clicked the New Case link again, I got to error 0 - Failed to connect to Sugar again.
The whole Suite instance is 755, the cache, custom, data, modules, themes and upload dirs are all 775 as per the guide.
What am I missing?
