Can Suite Handle Inbound Email Accounts That Have Thousands of Emails?

We want to transition to using the Sugar Email Client instead of Gmail for reading/writing emails related to cases and use the [CASE:{number}] in the subject line to automatically assign to a case. Before we were just BCC’ing a dedicated address. This was sort of a clunky solution though.

So one of the 3 employees we want to setup an Inbound account for their existing email address has thousands of emails in their inbox, trash, and sent folders in Gmail. 10,000 in their sent folder alone. Is Sugar going to “choke” a bit on this account? Is it going to make thousands of records in the database for every single email even though only 20% of the emails are related to Case records?
