Can I upgrade simply copying files via FTP?

Hello,
I would like to upgrade SuiteCRM from 7.10 to 7.11

Unfortunately the page “module=UpgradeWizard&action=index” is empty or some times include a php error, so I can’t use the automated upgrade wizard.
I already tried to run “Repair” module but is seems it’s all OK.

Can I upgrade version copying files directly using FTP ?
I mean to copy the right files included in “SuiteCRM-Upgrade-7.10.x-to-7.11.1.zip”

Or the upgrade wizard runs some php code that I can’t run uploading files via FTP?

I had a similar issue on my previous hosting. You can move the full SuiteCRM folder to your local server and export/import the database as well and perform the upgrade. Once all is complete you need to reverse the process. just make sure you change the config.php file to reflect your database information.
