Campaign Emails Not Sent. Email Queue Shows In Process Check-box Checked

I am unable to send Campaign emails.

Environment is a Debian Wheezy, and latest SuiteCRM. PHP Version => 5.6.20-0+deb8u1

Cron job appears to be working fine, b/c Run Nightly Mass Email Campaigns scheduler, set to run every 15 minutes, lists successful runs every 15 minutes. Please view image below for an illustration of what I see int he scheduler.

I have configured the bounce email, and I think it is working as it should b/c I set up another inbound email account with the same settings to determine if it worked properly, and when I test the setting of this second inbound email account, I got message “Connection Completed Successfully.” Please view image below for an illustration of what I just described.

I create the campaign with an email, and I selected a target list of type default (as opposed to test type) and schedule the email.

After I press the “Send Email on Schedule Time” button, I can see the email appear on Administration > Email Queue List. Before the scheduled time, the checkbox In Process is not checked. After the scheduled time, the checkbox “In Process” is checked, but nothing happens. The “Send Attempts” always shows 0. Please view image below for an illustration of what I have just described.

Even if I press “Send Queued Campaign Emails” nothing happens. Also, I have created a target list type test, and when I press the Send Marketing Email As Test, nothing happens. I have sent out emails from the user email interface, and recipients DO get the emails fine.

The log file does not disclose any errors related to the campaign emails. I had the log file set to DEBUG, and I have attached the portion of the log file that corresponds to date and time of the scheduled campaign email +/- 1 minute. Please take a look at file suitecrm.txt attached below.

I can’t figure out how to make the Campaign Emails work. Again, I am able to send out emails frmo a regualr user account.

Am I setting up the Campaign correctly?

Do the log file shows something that my configuration system lacks?

Why the Email Queue shows an eternal “In Process” checked box, but 0 Sent Attempts?

What can i do to send campaign emails from the SuiteCRM?
