I’m having problems with this bug and tried this on a fresh instance.
I have 2 contacts with different names and email.
Contact 1 : Mr. John Doe - firstname.lastname@example.org
Contact 2 : Mr. Ken Halls - email@example.com
On the list view, I selected these 2 contacts and selected an Email Template with variables in it like First Name.
Then, sent the email.
Upon checking the email, both have the same value for First Name. It’d be John on both.
Is anybody experiencing this issue?
