Blank Page on User login

Hey there,

I’m on SuiteCRM-7.1.1

If I create a user (regular user) and login with the default settings, then the user sees a blank page at login, see attached.
I then have to refresh browser then HomePage is displayed.
However if I make user “system administrator user” then post login HomePage is displayed.

Hi Nigel,

Probably some form of permissions issue. As admin, set log level to DEBUG then check the sugarcrm.log to see what is happening when the “normal” user is logging in. You can then compare that to what happens when the “administrator” user logs in.

Doing a quick repair seems to fix a lot of weird symptoms.

My bad. It’s a permission issue with dashlets on the homepage.

So, once I create the user, I need to login as user and remove all dashlets and add again; via the user login credentials.

I guess the default dashlets (on user creation) are for admin (or admin equivalent) user.

Weird, 'cause this didn’t happen with v7.0.1

Did anyone ever find a better fix to this? Yours doesn’t actually work for me, because if I remove the Activity Stream - it will load. But the only way to add it back is by resetting the user’s homepage settings - which causes the problem to happen again.
