AOW 2.0 changes

Aside from emails no longer working, is there any documentation describing how AOW 2.0 differs from AOW 1.0?

Would love the ability to trigger scheduled tasks from AOW, such as send an email once a day every 3 days when these conditions are met.

Are these on the roadmap?
